What stays in your browser
Saved article identifiers are kept in localStorage under the CedarNote key. Search terms and category choices are processed in the browser. There is no user account or server-side reading history.
You can remove a saved item with its bookmark control. Clearing site data removes the complete local reading list.
Hosting and requests
Your browser requests the page and its local images, stylesheet, and JavaScript from the same site. The hosting server may process normal connection information, such as an IP address, requested path, and browser headers, to deliver those files. This static application does not access or control hosting logs, and makes no claim about their retention.
There are no external font, image, or script requests on page load. Source and license addresses on the About page are text references, not embedded third-party content.
Your controls
Clear this site's storage in your browser settings to remove saved article identifiers. Restricting storage still allows reading and browsing.
There is no backend to receive deletion requests, synchronize data, or restore a lost local collection.
